I don’t even know where to start with this blogpost! I thought I could just start and finish it by saying: “This was the best wedding I have ever been to. That is all.” And to just leave it there. And although that is true, it wouldn’t be fair to not say atleast a bit more about my best friends wedding!

When your best friend gets married and she asks you to be a bridesmaid AND the photographer you know there’s gonna be trouble! I kept thinking: “How am I going to take photo’s when I am so busy crying I can hardly see through my viewfinder?! And how am I going to take photo’s of her walking down the isle, if I have to walk down just before her?” But with the help of Rescue Remedy (albeit copious amounts) and thoughtful camera logistics, I managed to stay calm enough to do my job and focus on taking pics of my special friends as they tied the knot in the beautiful valley of Bonnievale!

When I first heard the news that Kim and Dave were engaged, my heart jumped up and down and did a celebratory happy dance, because they are just SO perfect for one another! God definetly knew what he was doing when he brought these two together! Over the years I have come to really love and respect Kim and Dave, as individuals, as a couple, and as my very dear friends. Their integrity and genuine care and concern for others, coupled with their strong faith in God makes them the type of people you want to be around the whole time! Their zest for life is contageous and you can not walk away without being encouraged by them in some way!

Kim and Dave- you are some of the most spontaneous, sincere, crazy, fun and phenomenally awesome people I have ever met and have the pleasure and priveledge of calling my friends. My prayer for you is that you will continue to grow closer to one another as you grow closer to God, and that the flame of freindship and love will burn stronger and brighter as each day goes by!
