Rob and Sam’s wedding was a small and intimate one, with all their family and friends flying in from the UK, to witness these two best friends tie the knot on a warm and sunny day at Delvera near Stellenbosch. Organising a wedding in South Africa from the UK is no small feat, so most of the arrangements had to be done in the week before the wedding when they landed in SA.

 

Their daughter Sophia is just the cutest little munchkin! She’s a little busy bee and loved the camera. To be fair- the camera adored her too and you can see I went a bit crazy with shots of her- but she was just too freaking cute not to! You’ll see what I mean when you look through some of these photo’s!

We had such a great day with Sam and Rob who are warm, down to earth people. Relaxed, confident in who they are and phenomenal parents to little Sophia! I loved listening to the guests stories as well as the speeches  (I am a big fan of British humour!)  :)

Sam and Rob had some unfortunate luck after their wedding though.  Firstly, their room got broken into on the night of their wedding with many valuables being stolen.  Secondly, the next day when they went for a horse ride in the vineyards, Sam fell off her horse, breaking her arm and fracturing her knee thus having to spend 3 days in hospital! Ouchy!

Well Sam and Rob, I hope the rest of your stay in RSA was pleasant and safe! In the meantime have a look at some of the memories that you made on this trip that were fun and not so painful!
