So this is going to be the last post on my blog a while as I am heading off to Europe for a month as from tomorrow! Eek- too much excitement! However I just had to share this gorgeous wedding of Anelda and Nicolas before I left! What a fabulous day!
Anelda and Nicolas got married on THE most beautiful, and gloriously warm day in Riebeek Kasteel- which was quite a pleasant surprise seeing that it was the middle of winter!
This wedding brings a smile to my face when I think back to it. Everything was just so perfect… the light, the surroundings, the sunset, the guests and the gorgeous couple! The day was blessed and I had an absolute ball photographing every single bit of it.
There is no more fitting way to describe Nicolas and Anelda, than “lekker”! They are warm, friendly, people’s people who are just so easy to get along with. The fact that they suit each other so well made my job to get nice photo’s effortless.
We had quite a scare on the couple shoot when a herd of cattle that were in the camp we were shooting in, decided to stampede right in our direction. I think a fly on the wall would have been in stitches of laughter to see how we responded to the impending danger. With a shout or two, Anelda had miraculously teleported herself towards the nearby gate, whilst Nicolas was still holding onto the train of the dress! :) Anyhow the playful herd of bovines ran past, probably chuckling at the chaos that they had just caused.
Nicolaas en Anelda- julle is awesome! So baie dankie vir die lekker tyd wat ons gehad het saam julle. Ek weet God gaan julle huwelik sommer baie seën en mag die liefde en vriendskap wat julle deel, net meer en meer word! :)
