One thing that I love about my job is that I get to meet some pretty cool folk! Kate and Dave are such lovely, down to earth people who are very much in love! They came down from Johannesburg to have the photo shoot and then to visit Kate’s folks, who live on a farm along the Knorrhoek road.

We started their shoot in the streets of Stellenbosch, meandering through this gorgeous town before heading to Kate’s home which has the most amazing view of Simonsberg mountain! Kate’s parents are so friendly and kindly enough, allowed me to do location scouting on their farm the day before to get the spots for the shoot.

Dave and Kate met a few years back at church when the band needed a singer for the service. Dave being in the band, saw her standing around and promptly asked her if she could sing! She responded that she had been in choir and that she could try give it a go! They got along so well that they met up for coffee soon afterwards and from then onwards the rest is history!

Kate has a gorgeous smile, and it is so cute to see how Dave dotes on her! Together they compliment each so well, and with God as their cornerstone, I know they will be so happily married! Looking forward to your wedding early next year! Blessings xxx
