This was one of the most relaxed and intimate weddings I have had the privilege to photograph! Pieter and Christelle are genuine, down-to-earth folk who care deeply for those around them, and their wedding day was the perfect setting to get to honor those closest to them. Set in the gorgeous gardens of ”Tea under the Trees’ in Paarl, the luncheon was held on one of the most perfect days anyone could wish for when hosting a outdoor wedding!  The friendly owners of the venue made sure that everything ran smoothly so that the guests could relax and enjoy the day’s festivities, and it was such a pleasure working with them!

Christelle is in the design industry and previously worked for some high end shows and magazines- so the guest list was filled with other like-minded creatives. It was great being able to chat to some of these talented individuals whilst grabbing a bite to eat. The decor was exquisite and all handmade by the bridal pair, with unique greenery and shrubs for flowers. After a lovely lunch, the guests started heading back home and we had time to do the couple shoot in the gardens, at our own leisure! It was amazing having no pressure for time and we had such a blast together with the beautiful and happy go lucky couple!
