I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…Henk and Jana are “mens se mense”! Down to earth and fun, these two are a massive blessing to have in your life! Apart from doing their engagement shoot (to view please click here) I did not know Jana and Henk before, but yet, after their wedding day I felt as if I had known them for a long time. Simple, no fuss folk who were game for anything. Their wedding took place in a very small farming area called Klipdale which lies between Napier, Riviersonderend and Bredasdorp. What I love about farm weddings is that everyone chips in a bit, each neighbour contributing their skills or talents into making the day run smoothly. From catering to the flowers and the schools reception hall, it was all kept local.

They got married in the gorgeous NG church in Napier on a windy and surprisingly cold day for summer. Even though it was a bit nippy- the weather played along so well for the photos and we had both sun and dramatic clouds for the couple shoot which had me smiling from ear to ear, thoroughly enjoying the Lords creativity and spontaneity- which made my job to get cool photo’s so much easier!
