Wichard and Lauren had the most perfect day wedding on a wonderfully hot summers afternoon, at the picturesque Groot Constantia. Friends and family came from far and wide to see these two lovely folk promise their love to one another in the presence of the Lord. They are kind, gentle souls who love life and fit so well together.

 

We had a rather eventful time on the bridal party shoot staying away from the many, uncouthly rude (and dangerous) baboons! As we were busy shooting- they came out from between the vines, sat back and studied “these humanoids that were dressed up pretty and taking pictures” as if we were their entertainment for the day. They spitefully seemed to move into all the pretty spots where we wanted to take pictures! At one point one cheeky little guy (I say little…but he was big enough to be scary) even charged Lauren and the bridesmaids, and then proceeded to run after Natasha. Luckily, Wichard and the guys were there to chase the primates away!

 

Other than the bit of drama that the baboons created, it was a very relaxed and pleasant day with lots of  joy and laughter. After some entertaining speeches and toasts, the guests got to enjoy some more good food and wine from Simons restaurant and partied late into the night.

 

Wichard and Lauren- may your marriage be an abundantly blessed one filled with Gods goodness, grace and truth! May He continue to lead you and guide you deeper into his presence and love; and teach you how to love the way He does. Thank you for a wonderful day spent with you- we had such a great time!
