Such lovely people these are!! I met Mercia and Pierre very, very briefly last year whilst I was photographing Mercia’s brothers wedding in Tulbagh (to see Joe and Anet’s wedding photo’s click here). Yet, when I met them again at the V&A waterfront for their engagement shoot- it almost felt as if I had known them for a really long time. Why? I don’t know! Probably because they are just so friendly and welcoming, that I felt right at home being in their presence! Warm and kind- these two have a way of making one feel comfortable and relaxed, and boy are they in love?!

It was so wonderful to see how well they treat each other, both with the utmost respect, love and care. Dankie Pierre and Mercia vir ‘n lekker tyd in (‘n baie winderige) Kaapstad saam julle! Ek sien so uit na jul troue, en kan nie wag om die spesiale oomblike van julle groot dag vas te vang nie! Blessings xxx
