These two are so in love, it’s almost impossible for you to get them to take their eyes off one another! Wow, so humble, down to earth and just genuinely nice people- Katherine and Etienne are an adorable couple who came all the way from a nippy Canada to spend a few weeks on holiday here in sunny SA. (Etienne was born and raised in South Africa but emigrated with his folks when he was 17.) They are not only engaged but also expecting a little one who will be welcomed into this world in about 3 months time. Exciting!

I picked out the perfect spot which would give them a great view of the typical Stellenbosch scenery which included the mountains and vineyards, just to show folks back home in Canada that they were in fact in South Africa! But as we started shooting, a thick mist moved in and engulfed the gorgeous mountains, covering up all the beautiful scenery I had searched so long for! However it did add a very soft diffused look- which also worked well!

Katherine and Etienne, thank you for the time spent together. I trust you enjoyed the rest of your travels and that you got home safe and sound! I know you are going to make the most phenomenal parents- may the little one bring you so much joy and happiness! Blessings xxx
