So I’ve been meaning to post this blog since the beginning of last week, but then I had an unexpected problem with my appendix and had to have it removed immediately. Since then- life has been in fast forward mode and I’ve desperately been trying to catch up! So here we are… the wedding post of Landi and Louis. :) Yay- finally! :)
These two are so well suited for one another and I had a great time capturing their special day. Passionate about good food, fun and laughter- Louis and Landi’s wedding day was a reflection of their personality as a couple. Guests got to enjoy yummy mini gourmet treats that Louis and Landi had specially planned, and for their main course they went a slightly unconventional, but delicious, route of serving gourmet burgers. Apart from the fantastic selection of food and tasty puddings, we also had a varied variety in weather! It changed from cold, overcast and drizzly weather- to clear, intense blue skies in a matter of an hour or two.
Then as would happen to me (?!)…when I got into the car on Saturday I realised I had forgotten to pack in my tripod, but I thought to myself…”Ag, every time I pack it in, I end up never using it anyway…and I’m sure it will be the same thing today.” Well, it wasn’t the same thing that day. :) Because when this awesome couple said during the reception that they wanted to do some creative night shots before I leave, the regret hit me like pigeon pooh on a statue! My TRIPOD!!! BUT luckily, with some ingenuity we managed to find a tall table that successfully fulfilled its role as the much needed driepoot which allowed us to get some cool night shots which you can see at the end of the blog post.
Thanks too to my rockstar of an assistant, Natasha who helped on the day :)
Ongelooflike mooi foto’s !!
