When I first met Yasmin, not only was I struck by her natural beauty but also by her sweet personality. We sat on the veranda at Tokara, sipping away at our cool drinks, chatting about married life, how her and Herman met- and how they wanted their day to be. From start to finish, I realised that these two were the perfect match, they really love one another and that this was going to be a very unique and special celebration.
Yasmin is the daughter of the distinguished Ambassador of Jordan and his gorgeous wife, and Herman is the son of two lovely and very friendly Kalahari farmers. How did they meet you might ask? Well, thanks to University, these two wonderful individuals from very different backgrounds, were able to meet up and got to share life with one another. Although the two families cultures were different, there was one thing that drew them together: the importance of family. And it was so wonderful to see how warmly they families received one another, and enjoyed the evening together!
Herman and Yasmin, what a beautiful couple you make! May your marriage be a very happy and blessed one- and may you always remain the dear friends that you are to one another. Thank you for a great day spent with you and your families! I wish you all the happiness in the world!
