Natasha and I left Stellenbosch for George relatively early on the Friday morning before FC and Tracy’s wedding. We were grateful that we did, as it meant that we missed one of the Cape’s most epic storms. Half of the guests only arrived late on Friday night due to roads that were closed; retelling stories of how trucks were blown over by the wind and how the belting rain slowed them right down to a crawling pace. Thankfully the weather cleared on the Saturday morning and FC and Tracy enjoyed a glorious clear autumn day for their wedding.

Before our Skype meeting and their wedding day, I think the last time I saw Tracy was in Junior school in Somerset East. She has always been a strikingly beautiful girl and has loads of talent and intellect to match, so when she contacted me to shoot their wedding I could already imagine what a beautiful bride she was going to make! FC is one heck of a nice guy and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him too. Always kind and cheerful- he is never without a smile on his face!

FC en Tracy- julle is lekker mense! Dankie vir die voorreg om deel te kon wees van julle groot dag! Ek vertrou dat die Here julle huwelik nog baie gaan seën en mag julle elke dag op nuut Sy guns en genade ervaar. My gebed is dat julle nader en nader aan mekaar sal groei soos julle nader en nader aan Sy hart beweeg. Baie groete en seën! xxx
