Gosh I just adore this couple! I first met them when I did their engagement shoot earlier in the year, and then already I knew that they were going to make the most gorgeous bride and groom! Not only are they such naturals in front of the camera, but they are the most divine people to be around. Kind, caring, laid back and genuinely friendly- it felt as if I had spent the day with friends rather than clients.
Brandon and Kirsty got married at Cavalli, and what a spectacular wedding celebration they had with their (divine) family and friends! Even though the rain threatened to spoil things in the morning- it thankfully held out all day and we had some beautiful soft light to do their couple shoot in. Kirsty loves horses and used to be an avid rider. So Cavalli arranged for one of their gorgeous horses, Whiskey, to be trained the week before to get used to the feel of a bride riding him with a dress hanging down his back. However- when it came to Kirsty getting on- Whiskey didn’t quite like the sight and sound of the white dress! The wind had him a bit spooked and nervous- so we thought to rather not take the chance of getting Kirsty climb up and then something goes wrong. Imagine the headlines- “Spooked horse throws bride on her wedding day- has to be rushed to hospital.” Um, no thanks! :)
To Brandon and Kirst- thank you so much for the amazing time together. You guys are beyond wonderful and it was such a joy for me to be a part of your very special day. May your marriage be a truly blessed one in which you experience so much love, joy, peace and happiness together. I have a special little place in my heart for you two- and I know God has too. Sending lots and lots of love! xxx
Thanks to Nelani who assisted me on the day (before she left for Israel)! Crazy cool commitment- thank you for that, and for taking some of the decor pics seen here below! :)
