What a sweet, sweet couple! I met Guan and Shirne for the first time when I did their engagement shoot a few weeks before their wedding. I think what struck me about them then, and I was reminded about it again on their wedding day,  was that these two share a genuine friendship in their relationship. And they are both so easy going- my word! They even bundu bashed into the wheat field for photo’s- and little did I know that they both get really bad hayfever! (Whoops!)  Being in the middle of a grassy field- doesn’t exactly help the situation, and poor Guan had to go wash his face two or three times back at reception in order to stop his eyes from watering continuously and from having constant sneezing fits! (Sorry julle :))

They got married at Webersburg just outside of Stellenbosch on a wind-still, cloudless sunny day, surrounded by the people they love and cherish. It was a real celebration of the love and happiness they had found in one another, and I was blessed to be a part of it. Guan en Shirne- mag julle huwelik ‘n geseënde ene wees vol liefde, waardeering, geluk, vreugde en God se vrede! Julle is super lekker mense en ek is bly ek kon die dag saam julle deurbring! Dankie vir al die bundu bashing en dat julle dit so avontuurlustig dit aangepak het! Julle is legends!
