I knew I was going to like this couple when on my way to my first meeting with them I received Jo’s text message saying: “We are the good looking ones sitting at the tall table…” I smiled as I read the message and walked over to where they were sitting and met my good looking, fun and funny clients for a wonderful hour full of laughter and banter. Their sense of humour and zest for life was very apparent from that first meeting and continued to provide many entertaining moments throughout their wedding day. However, Mark and Jo can be serious too…they are serious about one another, family, and about enjoying life. I loved seeing how, throughout the day, they really just enjoyed engaging with their friends and family, and having fun with one another as a couple. Everything with them is an adventure!

They got married at Bosjes, a gorgeous new wedding venue between Ceres and Worcester. The distinctively designed chapel at the venue has most photographers I know itching to shoot there, so I was quite eager to go see for myself what all the fuss was about. The Chapel makes for some unique photographs, and  having such perfect light and photogenic clients definitely made my first experience at the venue a pleasant one.

Mark and Jo: what a pleasure having two such joyful and madly in love people in front of the camera! I really enjoyed the time I spent with you, thank you for being such ‘lekker’ people! May your marriage be a truly blessed one in which you continue to laugh and grow together always. Sending lots of love xxx
