I knew from Günther and Lindsay’s adventure engagement session on our farm in the Karoo, that these two are always up for a bit of fun and adventure. So their wedding day was no different! We spent their couple shoot time swatting mosquito’s in the forest, wading through spider webs and crossing river streams with dodgy stepping stones, all the whilst laughing that I am crazy enough to make people do this adventuring/bundu bashing thing in their wedding attire. But that is why they are my favourite adventure couple. Because they laugh about it but still go ahead and do it!
The Rose Pavillion outside Plettenberg Bay provided the perfect spot for a beautiful and relaxed wedding celebration…with the best steak I have eaten at a wedding…like ever! The venue is known for it’s roses, but a week before their wedding- the roses hadn’t bloomed yet and the weather wasn’t looking like it was going to help the process either! But then miraculously they started opening and blooming in full glory…just in time for Günther and Lindsay’s special day.
G and Linds- gosh, what an absolute privilege being a part of your wedding! There were so many beautiful moments and special memories made on this exquisite occasion. Thank you for choosing me to be there to capture some of them. Kerryn and I had a blast with you two and I still smile when I look back on your wedding day. Hope you do too- and that these photo’s help the smiles along significantly!
May the Lord bless your marriage in divine abundance and may your lives reflect His light and His glory to all those around you always. Praying Romans 15:5-6 over you: “May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Thanks again for being such rockstars! Sending lots of love and blessings xxx
Thanks too to Kerryn for assisting on the day- you are a gem!
