“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”
Psalm 139:13-16
They always talk about the Eastern Cape being a small place. It doesn’t take long for you to talk to someone before you realise you know someone they know. True as Bob.
Even though David and Olga are not from the Eastern Cape (they have lived almost in every province other than the EC), they have just moved to Port Elizabeth and half way through the shoot we clicked that we know the same people. The more we talked the longer the list of people we knew in common got. That’s when I realised…hierdie is my dam se ganse…hierdie is my hart se mense.
