It all started at varsity in Bloem, if I can remember correctly. The two lads, Herman Gers and Herman Reyneke became roommates and friends. They met the two lasses, Stephany and Jani who were also roommates and best friends. Herman Reyneke liked Jani first, and Stephany met Herman Gers first. Then I don’t know what happened but somewhere along the line Herman Reyneke married Stephany and Herman Gers married Jani. And here we are folks- two sets of best friends who got married and have the most endearing friendship, and not to even mention THE cutest little kiddos!

The Reynekes are moving to the UK in the New Year, and so for old time sake they thought it would be a good idea to get some photo’s of the friends and their families together. We only had one day to work with- and thankfully, the weather played along beautifully (in sharp contrast to what the weather apps were forecasting).

To the Reynekes and Gers families- what a wonderful friendship you guys have. Treasure it! And may these pictures and the memories they contain bring lots of joy to you over the years. Thank you for being so great to work with- and being so easy to have in front of the camera! I really enjoyed the time spent with you and wish you many more wonderful memories and times together.
