We were on the Vatomandry beach in Madagascar back in 2015, taking photo’s of the team when Josua and Esme asked me for a picture of just the two of them (see the images below). Jokes immediately started coming out from all the team members, that these two were practicing for their wedding pictures with me. At that stage they had just been dating for… (actually no body knows how long, because the other joke on the team was that they didn’t do the corny date thing…they just “vibed” and then they were dating). But anyhow…fast forward 3 years, and that joke became a reality. A beautiful, God-ordained and cherished reality. Since that outreach I have always had a special place in my heart for Josua and Esme. They are seriously fun, and have some of the purest hearts I have seen in a long time.  Always friendly, upbeat and positive- these two are an absolute joy to be around!

Because they are so loved, they had to find a venue big enough to host all their guests. Webersburg in Stellenbosch was the perfect choice and guests enjoyed a stunning view of the valley and of these two lovebirds as they said I do, before God and their loved ones. I left this wedding at the end of the night with a massive smile on my face and a joy in my heart that I couldn’t describe. The joy and peace at this wedding was just so contagious, and the love between the families and friends was something really special to see.

Ek bid 2 Thes 1:11-12 oor julle: “We constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith. We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.”
