How do you know I am bad at writing blogs? because it takes me about a year to do so! haha! I love, love, LOVE meeting with folks, taking their photos and delivering it to them and I even love putting the images together in Blogstomp, and loading it up on my website. But when it comes to the writing of the blogposts, especially now having mommy brain, my only 2 creative writing brain cells first; need to find one another, second; individually agree not to protest out of laziness, and third; negotiate on working together to try produce something that is semi readable. It’s a lot of steps for not such talented creative writing brain cells.

To give you an idea- writing a blog post to me is like driving up a 400 ft sand dune with a 2 stroke scooter that has rock hard tyres. It doesn’t get very far. Anyway- now that I’ve burnt out my only 2 creative writing brain cells attempting to put that sentence together…lets proceed (but in summarised fashion; because I have  a lot more posts to write in order to catch up on my serious backlog of blogposts!)

The Bisschoff family have become exceptionally dear and close to our little family since our arrival in Riversdale and have a very special place in my heart.

Not long after they found out Marlize was pregnant, they booked a family shoot and we headed off to Garcia Pass to capture some special moments in beautiful light together. Their son Johannes was born last year (and there is an adorable new born shoot coming of him too)- but before he starts playing first team tennis for Oakdale, I figured I got to get this blogpost out.
